Dish 811 for current digital home plan customers

Has anybody heard if the dish811 is going to be made available to digital home plan customers? I am having a Tosh. mt500 FPTV installed this week and wanted my HD but Dish tells me that they will give it to new customers but screw you if you are a current customer, you can go to Directv or cable. I pretty much think this stinks and I am getting some low level "manager" who won't let me past him on the food chain. Any suggestions for me?

dish 811 DHP

I know that the 811 is now included in the Digital Home Plan from Dish, but you can be a current dish user to qualify for it. Sorry
