Dish and local HD/mpeg 4

Hi all,

First time post.

I live in the extreme northeast corner of Scottsdale, AZ (about 30+ miles from downtown Phoenix). Because of terrain and distance, I'm unable to received OTA local HDs (I have an 811).

Any word on when Dish/E* will start carrying local HD/migrate to mpeg 4? It's killing me having over half HD content unavailable.

Hi welcome to Satellite guys. dish will start migrating some time in early 2006 is all we know.. with plans being announced soon.... if your in the top 20 markets most likely you will see LIL HD in the near future.. Other than that nothing offical has been announced..
