DISH Anywhere problem?

Trying to record from the app and all day I have been receiving this error:

Recording Error

Your recordings for lpga Tour Golf has not been set. please try again later.

this while viewing on a Firestik 4K. Have cleared the cache and data. Have deleted and reinstalled the app and still won’t work. Any suggestions?

Are you trying to set a timer on your Hopper via Dish Anywhere? This used to work! Well... At least it used to work on my 722 before Dish disabled my Sling Adapter. Hell, it used to work on my 625 which never had any Sling anything. My memory is hazy, but I think I could set recordings from my PC on a 501 as well.

Try setting the timer while you are at your Hopper location and you will likely be able to play it later via Dish Anywhere.

Since I’m away and not close to the H3 I found a work around. I used the DISH app on my IPad to set the timer. Must be a conflict somewhere with the Firestik being the true problem.
