I hadn't used Dish Anywhere lately, and when I tried it tonight, it asked me to update the plugin when I tried to pick a channel from the guide to watch. After a ridiculously slow download, I installed the new plugin and restarted my browser. This time, when I tried to go to the guide screen, it doesn't even load the guide -- it just sits there forever with a little spinning icon in the middle of the screen. I logged out, closed the window, logged back in -- same results. This was in Chrome. I tried it in an old copy of Pale Moon that I keep around (since I read about the problems with Firefox), and it does exactly the same thing there. The only difference is that in Pale Moon I can see on the bottom of the browser window the sites that it's trying to access. A ridiculous number of ad and tracking sites flash by, before it hangs on Google Analytics. Is it doing this for anyone else? It works fine in the Android app, BTW, just not on my desktop system.
