Dish Change Question

I believe that's a stock image of the LNB shown in #62. I'd love to get my hands on one, but I haven't come across one for sale yet. Asking would probably be more than I'd be willing to pay.
Thanks. Are there any other Satellite shops out there besides Solid Signal and The Satellite Shop? I wish Dish Depot was still around. Bought lots of parts from Mark the owner. He sold me the DPH42 switch when they first came out.

HipKat and dishdude, is there a model number or name for the new two LNB Western Arc setup? I called Solid Signal and The Satellite Shop inquiring about it. Solid Signal says they aren't getting any new Dish Network dishes. The Satellite Shop is looking into the new western setup and will call me back.

HipKat and dishdude, I have been in contact with the owner of The Satellite Shop company. Sent him the name and pics of the new Western Arc setup. He is going to reach out to his Dish Network contact to see if he can get one and ship to me.
I know you are a glutton for the newest gizmos but I just fail to see why this is so important when you have a perfectly fine and working setup that was just installed this week. :)

If you find a source please let us know. My 1000.2 has been baking in the AZ sun for 10 years, shocked the LNB is still going.

I will keep us informed dishdude if The Satellite Shop can get the new Western Arc setup. My 1000+ dish setup has been running great for almost 18 years since September 2007. Never had to replace the four LNBs. I would still be using it if the storm damage to my wall hadn't happened. I sure like the new dishes having a cover that encloses the LNB coax connections.

dishdude & HipKat, The Satellite Shop has struct out finding the new Western Arc setup. I wish Dish Depot was still around. I bet he could find one for me. The owner was awesome. He sent me the first DPH42 switch he got his hands on when they first came out. Wonder if there are any other satellite shops around!

Huh! I guess they're still too new to be out for resale

Little demand and few retailers left, and Dish may not even allow retailers to sell equipment. In Dish's eyes there is no reason for consumers to purchase equipment other than their RV program.

I bought all of my receivers after the original 2 from Dish depot. He was great to work with and trade in my old receivers for credit towards a new one. I never wanted to rent the receivers. I also got my new satellite dishes/lnbs/switches from him. But he saw the writing on the wall and retired and got out of the business completely a few years ago.
