Dish is sending me a free 922

If your program guide needs updating access your System Info Tile,after it's runs and says all is green(good) turn your 922 off(standby) for 1/2 hour.The guide should redownload.

Just plug it into a surge protector with a on/off switch . I did that when I had the 922 and the older 921. Used to do a reboot daily with the 921 , just to get it to work right so it would record my shows.
 
Not a bad setup, and its a nice receiver. However they are really sticking it to you with receiver fees on the 922, I can see why they gave to you for Free.

$17 for the receiver plus a $4 Advance DVR Fee for a total of $21 extra on your bill for adding it.

The monthly DVR fee on the 922 is $10
The monthly DVR fee on the 622 is $6

Not really an extra fee just a higher fee...
