Is this information (which I typed up) correct for the Dish Latino Dos package? I am just curious about it. So, locals and local RSNs are included? EA can now get all the Dish Latino channels now, right (I saw a recent uplink the other day.)? This package does not seem horrible. If anyone knows any other channels in the package, let us know. Also, if anyone sees any channel mistakes, let me know. I am concerned more about the channels than the channel numbers, but be free to correct any channel number errors.

I once thought about downgrading to this package since Dish added HD programming as an option, but since ESPN and ESPN 2 aren't included in the package, I decided to stick with Dish Latino Max.

I've been with Dish Latino Max from the start because I really want the History channel (english version), Travel Channel, DIY, BBC America ESPN and ESPN2. Both packs are a great deal but yeah, DOS is super cheap if you can live without the "headliner" stations that the MAX package includes.

Yes, I agree about those "headliner" stations. That is probably why we have America's Top 250, and the MAX package has some nice channels as well. However, people sometimes ask me for help with satellite stuff and for a package that fits their needs and budgets. I have been suggesting Dish America, but this seems like another package to suggest for $10 more a month. I have always been interested in TV and channels; therefore, I never mind helping them. :D

The site is so confusing as there is a PDF list of channels with just text:
http://www.dishnetwork.com/downloads/packages/spanishProgramming/DLDos.pdf

Then, there is another channel guide:
http://www.dishnetwork.com/downloads/Channel-Lineup/OnlineChannel_Latino.pdf

I added some channels and took some off due to the list on the order page. However, my guess is that the order list page is not 100% accurate as the HD for Life channel lists were messed up a while back.

So, it looks like the following should also be on my list:

874 Si TV
5350 HDNet

I am not sure about Cadenas Deportivas Regionales 444-453.

In addition, I should probably also note that the $10 HD Platinum add-on can be added (although the channels seem to be in the 5000s for some of these as well unless they have changed this but did not update the lists):
371 Centric
368 Crime & Investigation HD
5370 EPIX HD
5371 EPIX 2 HD
5304 Fashion TV HD
5351 HDNet Movies
5333 HD Theater
5373 IndiePlex HD
5307 Logo
5405 MavTV HD
5369 MGM HD
5320 Palladia
5374 RetroPlex HD
5377 Shorts HD
5354 Universal HD
5372 World Fishing Network HD

Of course, the usual premiums (HBO, Cinemax, etc.) can be added.

It is odd since Dish America seems to have both...
It is also odd that America's Top 120 have both....along with ESPN U and ESPNews (that always surprised me about E*...a nice surprise, though)
I would think that they would not be added in at least Dish America since they cost as much; however, it is good for the Dish America subs......Maybe that is why they do not have as many channels.....Who really knows though? There seem to be so many options with E*; there would be even more if the Welcome pack, Family package, and Absolute were still available; then, there are probably some more packages that I did not even know about. I do know that some people cannot do without their sports; I know that is understandable. I am more of a movie type person. I usually watch games if it is something local or at a family gathering. Too bad there is not one perfect package for everyone...I suppose there never will, though. :) I understand about the downgrading, though; it is hard to do especially with looking at what channels will be lost.

Since RSNs are part of the package (well, for those who still have a RSN), I'd assume it is possible to add the multi "sports" pack to those latino packages.

I ask mainly because these packages don't include NBATV, NFL Net or NHL net.

Other than that, at 52.99 latino MAX has some of the AT250 channels. Pretty interesting choice.

Yes you can add multisports to latino MAX package. It is a good way to go. Especially if you are a soccer fan.

Thanks Ghia. One more question, do you know if switching from AT200 to Latino Max counts as a downgrade?

I am not sure as I own my equipment and do not have issues with changing packages. I do not think there would be a problem with it though.

While I like the LatinoMAX package the best, it would be much improved if GOLTVHD was added back to it. Not sure if ESPN Deportes is available in HD or not, but that would be a great addition as well and that could be enough to drop down to LatinoDos, as the MNF games are on Deportes. There also seems to be more La Liga games along with an occasional Bundesliga match than the regular ESPN channel has.

There is no soccer in the multisports pack that is not already in Dish Latino Max.
I was refering to the soccer in the Latino pack. Mutlisports get you the NFL RZ and Network for those that like the NFL and soccer. There are some MLS games in Mutlisport that can be seen though most all of them can be view on Fox soccer or fox sports espanol.

Which 622 to return?
