Dish offering Netflix to new customs only? I may leave them then! Been with them for about 13 months now. Seem like they would just add it to the current customers as well!

We were with them at one time for over fourteen years, left for just streaming but came back and started our fourth year. But, if they keep dropping channels and keep adding more of the crappy streaming channel like they have now I'm going to drop them again.

Dropping which channels exactly, and why are the ADDITIONAL "crappy" streaming channels a problem for you?

They have dropped Cozi, METV, plus others over the years, and as for the crappy streaming channels they repeat the same thing over and over. It's not ant programs you want to watch.
The majority of Television channel’s content on Paid Live TV, is nothing but reruns.

Because those can be gotten from a boatload of other about, including OTA.
No, we live 0ver 100 miles from any city to get OTA, so there is that, and besides the networks are basically sports channels on the weekend, and most cable channels are pwned by the same groups they just show anything new on different channels.

With the Dish aquisition and dwindling sat subs.
I see a FUTURE of more linear streaming channels, including for the major networks, and DVR function for these STREAMING channels.
Still all customers will use hopper3 and/or moving more toward hopper+ tech (hopper4?).
City slickers with fast broadband would pay to get the internet streamed channels feeds.
Country folk would pay differently for the sat feeds.
Both sets of people using H3, H3+, H4.

See 'grio',
360-sat for country folk.
361-stream for city slickers
Same channel.
Same equipment.
Same functionality.
Different delivery.
Different pricing.

Existing customers can get the Netflix deal, you just need to agree to another 24-month commitment.
It's only the ad-supported version so not really worth it to me ....
