Dish Network in Iraq

no since 110/119 is CONUS only (and due to the earth being the way it is)

Slingbox is the best option but what kind of speeds of internet can you expect in Iraq?
Usually I watch stream with 250 - 320 kbps

he could pick up orbitz when i was there that what we had with afn....(gave a decent amount of american programming) or he could get a fta system.. with a motor (highly recommended) there is tones of fta overthere expecally lot of porn on hotbird... among other stuff..

I ran into this product 2 days ago, the customers son bought it before he left for germany, comcast came out and installed it and took all the info with them so I had no idea what it was and how it would work. I got the general idea from the lady but without instructions I couldnt help her and when I called for advanced tech support they had no idea either wich doesnt surprise me since its such a new product. Judging from scotts review it looks like its a very rudementary product at best right now but holds promise and hopefully the price will come down so the average joe can aford it.

teh only thing i could come up with upon my own is to skype it or yahoo it to my laptop

Have you checked out AFN? They should have it, if not you can see if someone has a sling box in that area, but being how slow the internet over there is, I dont think slinging will work.
