Dish Network to require "Free Phone Line Installation"

Unfortunately, just because a company is based in Texas doesn't mean that Texas' laws apply to elements in other union ruled states. I will say that the case of the Dish Installers might well be one rare case where unions might serve a useful purpose.

Guys, check where SBC operates.

AT&T was based out of NJ and had heavy concentration in the Northeast Corridor and Midwest - Heavy Union areas.

SBC was born out of Texas......and is heavy in the Sunbelt with right to work laws and very little labor union now operating under the name AT&T.

Again, the old AT&T != SBC.
