DISH ON DEMAND

  • Server Issues.

    We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.

    Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

Ever since they changed over to B.B. Movie Pass on Dish On Demand, I try to program something to download in Dish On Demand and the receiver freezes and then reboots itself. It has happened several times. What's going on? I have a 722.
 
have you tried unplugging the power for a minute, and then plugging back in? Sometimes there are things that don't get "reset" with a reset ... I know it sounds stupid, but its true with dish receivers. :(

When you're trying to program I'm presuming you're doing that from within the menus and with your remote .. not through one of the Online methods? (reasoning, I've had reboots when HDCP protected events try to record to the drive on my 722k, when I was doing it through the web site and the TV was off .... not sure if they've fixed that HDCP problem nor not and not)
