Dish Network is requiring a technician to come out in order for me to get my DPP 1000.2 lnb replaced. They also want to charge me $29. They offered to waive the fee just this one time. I told them that this was rediculous since I knew what I was doing and they said there was no option to mail out an lnb for a 1000 dish and that I take it that they would definitely charge me next time I have a problem like this again. I also don't want to wait and wait for an x number of hours for someone to show up with no shows like I hear so much about which is besides the point. They said that the option was still there for a 300/500 dish to mail out the lnb for that. They also told me that I might move the dish out of alignment while putting the lnb on. What is the deal with this company? No wonder why they are losing subscribers. I tried twice to get them to mail me one and they denied to do it twice. I have the DHPP warranty on my account.
