dish satellite box to new high definition satellite box - help please

Well I think I give up - I have tried all your suggestions and not working

and I thank you for taking your time to answer - I really appreciate this forum - I will have to wait til a Dish guy has to come to the house for something else in the year to come?????

How do you have it set up? Here's my setup. I have composite (rwy) hooked to the TV2 out on the back of my 722 to my Panasonic vcr input. I have composite out going to composite in on my Samsung. Select the correct source using the remote. I also have the coax out from the vcr hooked to a splitter in my basement that feeds 3 tv's. One of them is next to my computer. That one is also hooked to my 211 via hdmi. So I can watch HD from my 211 with it's ehd or switch to antenna in and watch recordings from my 722 in the living room.

Run a red, white, yellow cable from the VCR to your one of your TV inputs.

Too easy. Not enough use of complicating intermediate hardware, devices and technologies.
