Yep, better enjoy the beach while we can. Looking at the program guide, we're headed for the farm next: "America's Heartland."
I hope it's more interesting than it sounds. There are only so many amber waves of grain that I can tolerate before I go off and eat something. ;)
Maybe it will show a picnic, followed by a fireworks show! :)

Well, we got the windmill, the pinwheel, the bunting, the flag, a saddeled horse, cows to the left of me, a pig to the right, vehicle traffic in the town, a tractor that is too big to fit in the barn, a pickup going over the covered bridge, a ferris wheel, a parade in town and wind turbines on the horizon.

The stars shine even through the clouds.

AAH! the fireworks, finally!

Do I see a Dish on the left side of the house, mounted on the ROOF!

There's a stop light in town that traffic seems to obey.

Early morning fog, of course.

And the rooster, that occasionally sounds like a hen.

That poor horse, out all night with the saddle on.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.

The background sound is kind of neat. It took me awhile to realize I could hear the band playing "Stars and Stripes Forever" during the parade. I can also music from the carnival, but don't recognize the melody.

It just occurred to me, that you could use each Dishscape like one of those "hidden object" games with kids. For example, Can you find the modern wind turbines? Is that a semi tractor trailer truck on a highway after dark? Is there a stream under the covered bridge? Did you notice the crickets that start chirping as the sun goes down?

On all the Dishscapes, sundown and sunrise seems to happen on the same horizon. That's convenient.

I keep thinking I hear a motorcycle passing through in the distance. And I've never seen that much bunting on any working farm, even on Independence Day. This must be a patriotic bunch!

How about that farmer in the field to the upper left of the silo. He takes a step or two, sometimes he bends over, maybe swinging a scythe. And what appears to be a lake, to the right of the windmill-- occasionally something appears to move across it. "Nessie," maybe?
