Greetings
I have a coolSat 5000, I have my 30" dish setup, I'm using QPH-031

I setup my dish aiming to 97.0W AMC 5
I have one of each connected to L, and C in the LNB.
ANd I'm in the dish setting, and I don't have any idea how to do the setup:

Satellite : 79.0W AMC 5
LNB Power: ?
LNB Type: ?
LNB Freq.: ?
22khz: ?
DiSEqC 1.0:
Legacy SW: ?

Thank you very much
Mo

What do you mean please?
These things I have a questions marks are things I need to put in, I think I'm in the right spot
Thank you for your reply

I moved it from the operations forum (which is about the SatelliteGuys.US Website), to the FTA discussion area, since I believe you are looking for FTA Satellite info.

Oh, I'm so sorry about that
I didn't know
And where will I be able to check the replies from others please?
Again, I apologize

is it at AMC5 (79 degrees west) or IA5 (97 degrees west)? What satellite are you trying to pick up? I would remove the switch for the time being and just hook it up to the "L" side of the LNB.
LNB Power: ?
on
LNB Type: ?
single
LNB Freq.: ?
10750
off
DiSEqC 1.0:
off

Thank you sir, I do appreciate your responses
I'm very new to this, and this is my first receiver
dish elevation-50 (does it mean pointing the dish down?, since it's -50?)
azimuth (where to aim in the sky)-167, ( I thought the azimuth is moving the dish horizontal?
Your help is well appreciated
Mo

Thank you sir
I will try it as soon as I can, and I will let you know
Thanks again for your time
Mo
