I called in tonight to cancel my account after 5 years with Dish and make the switch to D* and met up with a very persistent retention rep, who made me a offer I couldn't refuse. She was very courterous and did her job well, because she got me to stay.
$15 off a month for the next year, with no strings attached or committment on my part. I really do love my 722 and was really agonizing over losing it, and figured the $$$ off per month would pay for my nhlci and not have to go through the hassle of switching,etc, so I decided to stick it out for awhile and see what 2009 brings us.
