Why does DISH give me a message "router not detected?" I have a Netgear nighthawk router, and my internet works fine for my work and home computers and phones. I just cannot get the premium channels to work. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
 
I had that problem once. Turned out to be an internet signal booster. The signal from the router and the signal from the booster confused the receiver.
That’s a good point that I forgot about, if the hopper is connected to a Wi-Fi extender, it will cause the kind of issues that the op is seeing
