Why does DISH give me a message "router not detected?" I have a Netgear nighthawk router, and my internet works fine for my work and home computers and phones. I just cannot get the premium channels to work. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

You might try to reset the network. Home 3 times, Network, Reset Network.

I see it didn't fix your issue. You might try to unplug the Hopper for 30 seconds and then plug it back in and let it reboot.

Have you set up the network on your DISH receiver? Which receiver do you have?
Yes, the network was set up to the Dish receiver, the hopper, then we started having problems with the message "router not detected"

I had that problem once. Turned out to be an internet signal booster. The signal from the router and the signal from the booster confused the receiver.
That's a good point that I forgot about, if the hopper is connected to a Wi-Fi extender, it will cause the kind of issues that the op is seeing

Wow
