Dish1000...Is the Dish500 discontinued?

The DP-34 switch is the same price as it was. You might see some that is cheaper because of some used ones or extra's that are not available.

We're NOT going to see the standard DP-Twin go away unless an the DPP-Twin can be updated to work with the DP34, or the DPP44 comes WAY down in price.

Retail price Was $119. Now it's $99. DP Quad was $99, now $79.

Either they never changed the retailer's price for the switch or it was higher in the beginning then lowered later on.

105 super dish uses 2 dishpro dual lnbfs, one with the plastic dual casing and one without, the fss lnbf on it can be one of three diferent types from what Ive seen down here in the gulf coast so far. It is very possible that the 1000 will replace the 500 down the road with 2 variations on the W bracket having the dual positioned on either side of the 110 and 119 lnbfs. As it stands the 1000 is not interchangeable with the 500 except in the use of the lnbf's, all the hardware on the 1000 is larger.
