Dishnetwork Remote 158926

I have Dishnetwork 722 with the DVR remote control. My grandson was pushing buttons on the TV1 remote and made the SAT light come on. The SAT light stayed on for 15-20 seconds. The remote will not do anything now. I have reset the dish box, unplugged the dish box, removed the batteries from the remote and put brand new batteries in the remote, but the remote still does nothing. Any suggestions on what I can try or am I going to have to buy a new remote?

push the system info button on the front of receiver then hit the record key on the remote.
