I recently aquired a new motorhome. It has a wineguard satellite dish (Road Trip Mission). The motorhome has HD wiring thru out to each tv. The wiring is a 5 wire RCA connector. I assumed that I could just connect these to the rear of the 222K to get a picture. Not so. I checked my connection using the hdmi connector off the dvd home theater unit. So my signal and switch setting are OK.And I get a picture using that setup, but I need to go thru the 5 wire RCA setup to get all the functions that this system has to offer. I think I remember the motorhome service adviser telling me I needed some adapter or power plug to run from the 5 wire RCA connector to the rear of the VIP222K. Does anyone know of this, or can help? Thanks VERY much!

You should not need any adapters to make the rca/component work.
What functions does the 5 wire (component) have over the HDMI?

Did you try all the inputs of the TV and the controller?
