Will DishONLINE finally arrived on my 622 last night, and its the first time I have really got to play with it since its release. (I did get to login to some folks Slingbox units and play it before)

And since there have been a lack of screen shots I decided to take some screen shots. :)

Here you go.

fan of biggest loser heh scott?

edit: never mind one shot looked like it had biggest loser in the background...I cant wait to get this up and running, I just need to figure out how to get my vip722 hooked up wirelessly to my network as right now I cant get it to work, my 360 works with my game adapter but the 722 wont, stupid thing! :)

I see your actually getting pictures in the recommendation boxes. All I get is the Dish logo. Same thing when I select a movie to rent, not like I have rented any. I wonder why I am not getting the pics?

Love that Santa is in PIP while you browse After Hours :)

Does Dish plan on adding movie channels on Demand like DirecTV or is this all going to be a pay per use?

That is the only way I would be able to hook my 722 up also. Is there an adapter or something I need to get? Any info on hooking up wirelessly would be great!

I hope Dish takes a look at DirecTV's VOD offering and decides to emulate that product. At the moment DishONLINE is a waste of bandwidth.

a couple of months ago there was a week or so where one of the channels in the 5000 range was Starz on Demand, with no content available. Don't know if I was picking up a test signal then or what.

Search this site for "ethernet adapter", or "homeplug". You should find what you're needing!

Buffalo makes a really good wireless bridge. You set it up to connect to your wireless router and plug your devices into it. Your devices plug into it with Ethernet like any router or switch. If it works with Ethernet, it will work with the bridge. Also, unlike most wireless routers themselves that need to be rebooted periodically, I have had this thing for well over a year and have only had to reboot two or three times. It works great.

If I had more time I'd provide you with a link to buy it but you can do your own google search to find it. It sure beats buying wireless adapters at $80-$100 a piece for all your devices in a room away from the wireless router.

I actually have my wii, 622, xbox 360, slingbox, and a PC all connected via mine (have an extra switch in there). There is no lag with anything (most importantly Xbox 360 followed by the slingbox).

Oh come on, $12 for a DishOnline porn is so worth it! Nevermind the corner adult store and its $9.99 bin, where you actually own the physical DVD... crappy single X porn on Dish is so wonderful!

What do I know.. I am married.. I am not allowed to watch porn anymore..haha

Yep. That's my understanding, too. Something about the ViP622 using an earlier Broadcom chip with some limitations that don't exist in the ViP722 version.

There were many, many discussions on doing this months ago when the ethernet connection first went live.

They don't seem very new to me.
Yeah, look at image # 5. 1980, 1982, 1984 movies are "New releases" ?? I mean, the local privately-owned video store stretches their "New release" section too by including year-old movies, but that's NOTHING compared to Dish's idea !! :D
