Disney Sets Deal To Acquire Most Of Fox, A Game-Changing Deal That Will Redraw Hollywood Landscape

No, what you want is a license to drive an emergency vehicle.

Good point. There are some obvious exceptions to otherwise universally-applicable passenger vehicle speed limits which make sense, but otherwise, everyone's vehicle is treated the same. People or groups of people cannot pay more to go faster on the government-subsidized roads that everyone with a vehicle has access to drive on. Also, the people or groups of people at your destination don't have to pay for your fuel (which you already paid for).

Man, stopping for all of those red lights on your way to save a life must be murder.
Yep, you stop and make sure the intersection is clear before proceeding and if someone runs into you because they had the green the emergency vehicle driver will get the ticket and the insurance will pay the civilian. Multiple court cases backing this up. Very few location actually have a law on the books allowing emergency vehicles to speed or disobey other traffic laws.
