Dish install spec. sheets states they will bury first 50' of cable. How much do they charge to bury the rest of the cable, per foot? What equipment do they use?

Don't know what they charge but you can bury the add'l yourself and note the work order as such (the installer may insist anyway, to cover his/her butt).

Dunno what the charge might be but they just used a shovel to bury mine--just turned over a couple of inches of soil and pushed the grass back down. After a couple of weeks you couldn't tell where the lawn had been disturbed.

Depends on the company doing it. I have heard as high as $2/ft.

I just use a flat spade and split the sod. Shove the cable in and stomp it back with my foot. you can't tell I was there when I am done.
