Sad day for Doc Scott fans

If you rescan University Network (you may have to delete the channel first) but its been renamed

Gone is the "University Network-Dr Gene Scott" title when it would scan in

Now it shows "PASTER SCOTT"

Dr Gene is still on the screen though, right? I couldn't see them stopping the re-runs.. I'm sure that even though he's dead, Dr Gene still gets people to send in money..

I think she should have still given him the credit. After all, few would tune in if he wasn't still on the screen most of the time.

oh yeah Doc's still on there but not as much as it use to be.

Seems she is on there way more now recently. Use to be Doc was on most of the day. Now its mostly the Mrs.

Doc is on later at night now

Like you, I tune in when I can't get to sleep, but have always enjoyed what he had to say.

Besides there is some sentimental value with him since he is the second channel I found with my old analog receiver when I just got started in FTA on AMC3 TP 20 V.

That's when you taught me to use the skew control on the Co-Rotor. Cleared his picture right up.

I noticed that yesterday at a friends house. He just set up his first FTA system and it didn't come in with a blind scan, but a manual scan pulled it right in. I noticed the "Pastor Scott" for the channel listing, but didn't think nothing of it. Makes no matter to me, as long as it's available. I never go there intentionally, usually when channel surfing, but I rarely leave it immediately either. I always seem to hang around for a long time when I get there.

The C band Analog original is still up on TR 20 of AMC-3, She's doing her thing right now. The 4DTV guide says DR Gene Scott

I did a re-scan of IA5/G25 about an hour ago and found it. It scanned as "THE UNIV. NET". I also noticed AMG TV is back on IA5/G25 C-Band, and it's still on IA8/G28 C-Band...

I did a re-scan of IA5/G25 about an hour ago and found it. It scanned as "THE UNIV. NET". I also noticed AMG TV is back on IA5/G25 C-Band, and it's still on IA8/G28 C-Band...

AMGTV was on G26 until the blowup then it moved to G28

it was on G25 KU a while back but the AMG that shows up now isnt the same

I was looking for her around 7:00 tonight, seen that the channel had no signal on that transponder, I did a re-scan looking for University Network but it never poped back in, never thought to look for her name! I am still sitting on that bird (G25) watching FTV and the Midnight HOT since the wife is tucked away in her bed for the eveving! WOW :up

Got her in now on G 25 after a transponder scan! Pastor Scott in the list! She is on now with her famous Harley Davidson jacket on!
