Does anyone know if the Terk TV-44 is a good clip-on antenna?

Okay, so I have a 24-inch Dish Network 1000.2 HD dish, but want to receive the rest of my local networks. Will this Terk TV-44 clip-on antenna work on it, get good reception and do the trick? It's the only clip on I know of that will fit a 24 inch dish.

A clip on is a poor choice for an OTA antenna. What direction is your 1000.2 pointing, what direction is your OTA coming from? A quick look at TV FOOL looks like the broadcast towers are 90 degrees east of where your satellite dish is aimed. The Terk has it's largest reception surface pointing in the wrong direction to receive broadcast channels.

It is really hard to say. A TV fool report may tell you more. It depends on your location. A rusty paperclip could be a good antenna in your area, or you might need a huge antenna. The Terk is somewhere in between. If you do not need a large antenna, it will probably work OK.
