where you get your receivers from(Them or eBay or Craigslist etc....)????????

most receivers are leased so if you find one on ebay/craigslist make sure it can be activated.

Also Directv will not start a new account with old equipment. The reciever cannot have been in the stream (activated)

get the RID# before making the purchase,call directv, give them the number to make sure it's ok To add to your account.You can email them but that would take a little longer.

Remember, if it's been used at all, you cannot use it as your primary recvr to activate service.
