Downgrading Package.

If I downgrade to a less expensive package will I be held to a new two year contract?
I tried their web site for a search and came back with zero results..
I thought about calling them, but I am not sure if I would trust their answer.

We just recently changed our programming package to get out of being charged the Regional Sports Fee and DirecTV confirmed with us that programming changes don't impact contract length in any way.

That is correct, changing packages does not require a new commitment.

Changing equipment may, depending on what your changing.
