DSR 920 Receiver

Does anyone have a DSR 920 they want to get rid of? Mine slide off the shelf dropped 6inches and now I get nothing but snow, the signals are good,is there a way to fix it, is it fixable? Thanks.

There was a discussion of repair shops a while back.
I suggest you search for the conversation to see what came of it.
One place they did mention was Professional Satellite Repair.
Whether it was a good place or a bad one, I don't recall.

Question,
1) Can you get a picture on your TV by using the option button?
2) Also make sure you switch is set to correct channel 3 or 4.
3) Remove all cables from the dish ..did you get a picture

Yes I can get a picture by pushing options, the switch is set correctly , yes I get a picture. Any other ideas that might help or suggestions. Thanks.

Sounds like you may have damaged the F connector coming from the dish, try either a new cable or connector, the last option is you damaged the connector in the unit.
