To the satellite-guy community: you guys know more than anybody. Period. So after screwing with my dsr 922 and big dish on my own, working with Skyvision where I purchased it, etc., I turn to you for help. My dsr 922's dish-position counter does not change when I move my dish. I recently had to disconnect the the unit when we were remodeling the house. It worked fine for a short while after reconnecting it, but then this problem surfaced and I haven't been able to fix it. I'm presently on G-1. When I try to go to another satellite, the system tells me that I went there, but the dish does not physically move. I can "bump" the dish over to the new satellite and ultimately get there, but the dish counter never changes. I've already changed the sensor in my actuator; that did not fix the problem. I've ordered a new magnet wheel, which should be here in a few days. I've connected the ground wire on the frame of my actuator and to the lug post on the back of the receiver. No dice. All of my wires are connected correctly and I never get the "no pulse" error message. I'd appreciate whatever suggestions you guys can provide. Thanks very much.

This is the typical symptom that the 922 is not receiving the pulses back from the reed switch at the dish (in the actuator motor).

Check and re-check the wiring at the back of the 922 and verify the wires that are connected to the reed switch are going to ground and pulse on the 922.

Good luck.
