DTV now selling HD DVR directly?

I was on directv.com this morning and noticed a change on the HD DVR page. At the bottom of the page it used to give you a link to buy one at a local retailer not it give you two numbers to call to order one. One for new customers and one number for existing customers. Has anyone called? Are they offering any better deals now?

Nope,999, that includes professional installation, and you have to commit to 1 yr HD service and 1 yr total choice.

Gonna wait until the MPEG-4 move before getting an HD-DVR. I actually have the money now for it.

Its not, it's to DirecTV their installation group, I called.
