Duo 625 to Hopper

I am getting a Hopper install tomorrow. The CSR in the phone says the installer can transfer all my recorded movies/shows from the 625 to the Hopper box. Can anyone here confirm that this is possible. I know the 625 is not able to have an external hard drive. I questioned the CSR about this, and I was assured it will work. I ask the forum here, because if this is not possible, I need to call Dish back and ask if I can keep the 625 for a month until I watch all my shows. Thanks!!

won't work and you won't be able to keep the 625 while the hopper is on the same account. You're better off postponing the upgrade until you've watched your content (depending on how important it is).

If you want to message a much better Dish representative, i'd suggest:

On the bottom of the main forum page, you'll see the usernames in red with @DISH Network at the end. Those are official reps from Dish that are active on the forum right now. Just send them a private message with your account or phone number.

From a 622, yes by use of an EHD. From a 625, no.
