DVB MPEG-2 BOX Color problem

Hi everyone,
I have a coolsat 6000,SG2100,and 31" dish.I'm presently tracking the clark Belt and I'm getting a quality of 70% and better form the satellites located 72-123. I'm getting good picture, but my problem is that all of the picture are Black and white instead of color. Does anyone know why it's like that?

What type of video connection to TV? If it's S-Video it could be a bad cable like a bent or broken prong on the connector.

My brother used an S-video cable, I 'll try changing the cable. Thanks for the info.

sounds like a bad cable. I use svideo on my 5000 and have no issues

its a bad cable guaranteed>>replace it and u wont have a probelm

BTW, I ran into another situation just yesterday causing B&W picture on Merc II. I tried using the component connection and saw B&W. Swapped to another set of cables and still B&W. Then I discovered a setting in the menu for COMPONENT/SVIDEO and it was set to SVIDEO (factory default). Changed that and working now.

I changed the cable and that solved the problem.I want to thank everyone for taking a little time off there schedule to help me solve these problem.
