I recently upgraded to the "whole house' 7216 DVR. When I did, I started having problems using HDMI. It worked for about 20 seconds, then went to a green screen. In scanning the internet, I find that this is a "known" problem within Verizon but that they think it's just Samsung TVs experiencing it. Wrong. I'm using a 2004 1080i Panasonic plasma with HDMI. HDMI worked fine until I got the 7216. Now I'm stuck with using component inputs only.

I'm going to call Verizon and add my name to the list of complainers, but based on what I'm reading I think that's all they'll do.

Is anyone else having this problem? Heard any news?

I had the same problem when they installed Fios last week. According to the guy, they use HDMI 1.2 cables and the cable i had must not have been up to date, he switched the cable to his and it has worked ever since. I also have a Samsung TV.
