DVR Shutting off or crashing

Hello everyone,

This morning is the 4th or 5th time ive woken up and discovered my HR 24 completely shutdown. Each time the power button does not turn on the receiver. I need to completely unplug and replug to restart. Anyone else have this happen? FYI, no other device has lost power so this not a power related issue.

How are the signal strengths on this box?
How is it connected to the dish? What dish do you have?

I have a Slimline. It's connected to the old type of switch.. I should note that the HR23 in my bedroom does not do this. I'm tempted to think this receiver is going... but dont really have the patience to argue with DirecTV about it.

Does the HR24 still fail if you swap it with the HR23?
