DVR transfer problems

I am trying to transfer my DVR recordings from a sling to a hopper 3 via ethernet cable. It has been on the transfer screen overnight & still shows 0% transferred. I have reset the connection & both units this morning & still nothing is happening. It did get to part where I can select which recordings to move over, but it's nots actually moving them. Any ideas on what I can try to get things moving? I do not have a external drive so it needs to be over ethernet

It's a known issue that there is a problem with transferring recordings that Dish acknowledged last week.

Engineering has confirmed that they are now testing a fix for Hopper Transfers in beta. Ideally, this will be a part of the next software release in mid-November. This has also been communicated to CXO and added to their flows, so they should be educating customers as this comes up.
