transfer timers

Yes indeed! They are saved on your original remote. Just pair that original remote with the new Hopper and Restore DVR Timers.
How does it work if you have several remotes connected ??
Never used it before, the restore ... thanks much for your time
(My h3 feels old as time... been so long since it was released..... )

Each remote that is connected will have your timers backed up on them as long as they are paired to the Hopper.

I have had the Hopper replaced two times, and both times I was unable to successfully restore timers.
I called dish support yesterday. The tech said I was crazy, you can not do this. I ended the call quite disrespectfully.

Is there documentation for the procedure?
Can anyone speak about a successful restoration?

I use 50 remotes, and have 5 actively logged in.
Somewhere I saw that you need to do this with a 20 remote.

Thanks for all your replies

And while I'm at it, can anyone tell me how to change the banner at the bottom of my posts.
I am tired of beating that dead horse.
