It has been several weeks now. I am kinda disappointed in the signal levels being received up here from this new Sat. (I have almost exactly the levels posted by Scott G, but minus 2. I had my dish re peaked last week to get those levels). Does anyone know if this is running at full power?

Most are up from before, a few are down. I don't know what's up with the 0's. I've had drift problems with this LNB for a long time, but I've never bothered having it fixed because it didn't affect any channels I watch, plus I'm waiting for an EA upgrade when they get the Scranton locals problem fixed.

New EA installation after Locals in HD lit up.

For info :

Sat 72 ranges from 48-63
Sat 77 ranges from 48-57

Very nice picture, and this mornings rain storm wouldn't knock out the HD, which would have happened on my WA setup prior to Friday.

61.5 from 24605

Transponders with 0 signal were deleted, all were "transponders" unless denoted by "SPOTBEAM" or "Locked".

I haven't noticed any pixelizing or freezes unless there is a fairly hard downpour. Most transponders signal strength meter are stronger on the new 61.5W sat, but not all.

Note that the first set of readings were taken on July 7th, and the second set were taken today.

I noticed a few more transponders in use now as opposed to July. Dave

I'm betting signals are low because the bird is not running at double or triple power yet. The transponders were not fully tested, so I don't thing there are quickly throwing the switch on all TWTAs.

I see no improvement. I had my 1000.4 re peaked and the signals from this new Bird continue to disappoint, maybe I was expecting to much but levels are low in my opinion

The 77 bird is terrible in Vt but I do get readings on some TPD of 40

It has not rained since I was re peaked, and The levels on 72 were much improved. Maybe it is just the 1000.4 dish, maybe it is fine, I just was expecting more
Thanks

Those in the 40 to 50's are just fine those in the low 30's and the 20's are not so great.
