Want one?
It'll cost you £629.99 (1,167.23 USD)

Their lower end receivers start at £95.00
Sounds like it's time to give my father a call, I'd like to check one out.

Indeed they are. That's why I use Manhattan and Technomate receivers in my main DVB setup. :yes

Echostar makes some great equipment. My next receiver will either be an Echostar or a Golden Interstar (germany). You pay a little more in the end, but for the quality you get it's well worth the extra $ to me.

Not trying to threadjack but I noticed you got the BigSat LNB up on the Fortec 90. Have you had a chance to compare it to the Invacom? Even informally?

Thanks,

Now there's a statement I never expected to see.

But, probably most of us who use Echostar equipment are only familiar with the Dish Network receivers, which are no doubt manufactured by some other part of Echostar that you weren't talking about.

I agree, the echostar DVB receivers are great. Keep in mind that there is no comparison however to the DTH Dish receivers. These are very basic.
