Encore HD East & West is now active on C-band

I checked out both channels last night. There was a HD movie on both. One of them filled the screen and the other was letterboxed. So, they're not panning/scamming the image to fit a 1.78:1 screen.
I'm sure Encore HD will be on VOOM next week.

Thanks for letting us Dana... Interested to know that Encore HD was both East and West and I believe VOOM will only carry East.

yes you are right. see here, http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/s...04/0002124727&EDATE=TUE+Mar+09+2004,+08:15+AM on the east coast feed. why hasn't Voom gotten it up yet, they should have had it up as of the 22nd,if this article is correct.

They delayed it until the 29th because of the code push.
