I had my 2 hopper, 2 joey set up installed a little over a week ago and on Wednesday I saw the 311 hard drive failure message. I reset the hopper, and didn't see the message again until last night. I chatted in and after about 30 minutes the rep I was chatting with figured out the hopper in my livingroom needed to be replaced. I also discovered that the 2 joeys that were linked with the living room hopper had info on the screen, but no picture or sound. Tried everything from a smartcard reset, to resetting the moca connection. The joeys would only work if I liked them to the hopper in my bedroom. I'm guessing it has to do with the 311 error, but not 100% sure.

Anyone have any ideas?

I would have that hopper replaced. If it hasn't fully failed yet, it is most likely going to have full hard drive failure eventually.

I have a replacement already on the way. Just thought it was interesting that the 311 error message also nocked out the joeys when connected to that hopper.

Just a thought...do you have that Hopper in a well ventilated area?
