Can someone refresh my memory - We we not told late last summer that in January that we were getting ESPNU HD? It might have been a rumor but I thought it was from a reliable source?

Anyway, I remember thinking that the launch was a little late for College Football to be enjoyed...

Any help?

Will anything on ESPNU be actually shot in HD?

I can't see many games of any kind (basketball/football) being shown in HD.

Hope I am wrong though

i have this on cable. all of their college football games were hd and most of the college basketball has been in hd..

dtv's press release was issued before dtv 12's launch was delayed several times. but dtv 12 testing began today and is ahead of schedule. plus, over there at dbstalk, satracer has posted in the past few dates that the new hd launch gets sooner all the time. so it is still very possible that this channel will light up by 3/31. if not, it will miss by maybe a week.
