I was noticing that some of the sats on the European list have 2 numbers, like;
AMC15 255E or 105W
and G10 is also listed.
237E or 123W

so I know the 123W is where I pick it up, whats with the other numbers?
Why can they get G10 and we can't get AMC15?
Is it all just a footprint issue or what?
Enlighten me please.

-EDIT-
OK I feel stupid =) I now realise that AMC15 is actually AMC2 here in the states, the DN bird, but that just makes it more confusing...

255E and 105W are the same location, just counting the other way around the planet.

Satellite locations like longitude are measured from the Prime Meridian. G10 is located at 123 W, or 123 degrees west of the Prime Meridian. G10 is also located at 237 E, or 237 degrees east of the Prime Meridian. It just depends on which direction you are measuring from. We measure from the west as all satellites are west of the Prime Meridian. In Europe, the satellites are located both east and west of the Prime Meridian.
