Yep. The compressed SD looks considerably worse on a large HDTV. When I first got mine this was very disturbing to me.

That's one of the reasons HD will be measured in years for me.When prices come down on HDTVs and HD programming doesn't have to be with SD channels.When both E* and D* have the bandwith for HD and the dust settles then will be the time for me and HDTV.
