External Hard Drive Question

When Dish finally does the software update for the 622 so that external hard drives can be used to archive programs, will we be able to use any brand of external hard drive assuming it is USB 2.0 compiant? Will we even be able use Flash/Pen drives if we wanted to archive a single movie?

Yes, the other thread is best, to keep it all together. However, we BELIEVE but don't KNOW that any brand will work. The thumb drive would have to be 40GB min, I believe was posted. You be sure and let me know if you see one of those!
