Yes, but you may have difficulty formatting it with the Hopper 3. If you know a bit about Linux (or even partitioning Linux partitions under Windows), you can format it and get it to work. You basically have to format a 32-bit filesystem past what is normally allowed. I did it a few years ago on Windows for my HWS, so I can't tell you off the top of my head.
I have a 3TB WD Mybook on my H3.
I just plugged it in and let my Hopper format it. Total available space is exactly 6 times the space on my 500GB Drive so I would say that the 3TB is available.
