When it comes to ice cream, we all have our favorite flavors.

What are yours?

Mine is Fox Fudge Freakout, which is chocolate ice cream swirled with fudge and chunks of white fudge covered chocolate cookies.

I would have to say that sorbet and sherbet are both disqualified simply because they are non daily products. Gelato would meet that qualification, but I never cared for the stuff.

I'm a traditionalist. GOOD vanilla or Butter Pecan. The latter really needs to have the roasted and salted pecans to be any good.

Maple walnut. Make ours at home.

Maple Walnut Ice cream
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serves: 2-4

1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup plus 2 tb milk
3/4 cup Vermont grade A maple syrup
1/2 cup walnuts pieces


Pour the cream, milk and maple syrup into the ice cream maker.
Add nuts and freeze 15-24 minutes.
makes about 2 1/2 cups
