Final Conclusion On a Matter

Quick followup. Didn't get to this swap until a couple of days ago. Two issues I had:

1) The arm length on the 1000.2 was much longer than the D500. Had to go buy some barrel connectors and use the leads off the SW44 as extensions. Need to get back up there and weatherproof these connections sometime.

2) The 1000 yoke didn't seems to match up with the EA LNB (Are there different ones for the 1000.4 vs 1000.2?). There's a round tab in the middle of the yoke and no corresponding slot on the LNB. Ended up having to force the tab underneath the LNB to match up the screw holes. Yoke doesn't completely tighten up now, but it seems to work Ok.

Signal strengths went up about 20 points from my unsupported D500 setup. Had significant rain last night that would've knocked out the signal before, and had no problems.
