Brought the receiver and a small TV outside, and stood on a ladder to get my rig fixed this weekend. So much better than trying to walkie-talkie with the wife! The dish mount on the motor attachment pole (not the mast) was the problem : once I got it all sorted out (read: straightened out) I started getting 80's and 90's quality where I was only getting 50 or 60 before.
Turn the dish to G10? Why yes I will! Everything comes in strong and clear. Picking up the SatMex stuff too. Spun back around to see about SBS6 but there's no longer any NOLA programming on it - oh well. Started doing more blind scans last night and nabbing more stuff more clearly than I'd gotten it before. Might do some more minor tweaking, but ... well, if it ain't broke, right?
