I just received a letter from Verizon that the prices for the box rental is going up on April 23rd. I've been a subscriber for 4 years and have had 2 out of the 5 boxes replaced as they have died. I'm supposed to pay more money per box rental while new customers are getting a free multi room DVR for life. It's time to start shopping for new service out of principle, they want to raise prices, don't tell me the box price is up, Over 4 years i've already probably paid for the box in full in monthly fees. That's some way to show your love for long time customers.

The box price went up only 1 Dollar .I have dish and fios I upgraded all of my fios boxs 2 dvrs and 3 hd boxs for free. Try to do this with dish and see how much that will cost you .The hoppers and joeys seem to be going for $99.00 and up . I think fios is the best deal for now.
